Taking Multiple Exposures in Photography

Taking photos can be very fun. It isn't only a technical hobby but also a type of activity where you have the ability to express yourself and your creative side. There are many different ways and techniques that you can show different things as well. One way to do so is by exposing your photo more than once.

When you use multiple exposures in photography you can do many different things. Of the various things you can do you can:

1. Add some more color
2. Make your image more dark
3. Add objects

Using multiple exposures can give you a lot of freedom in photography. For example, you can even use this technique in order to make a setting where a lot of noise seems likely have less noise.

One good way to use the multiple exposure of photographs is by taking two pictures at the same exact spot of the same subject. Except on the two pictures you have different exposures. If you want a large exposure you can cut it in two and expose half the first shot and the other half the second shot. This is a really good technique and you can use some type of device to cover up a part of the image and everything else will be more exposed for that time while the covered area will stay exposed for the first exposure only.

The drawback of using this technique is that many cameras actually don't have this feature. Many digital SLR cameras will let you take multiple exposed images. Of course, with the new world of digital photography you can very easily do two exposures. The only thing is that you will actually have two pictures instead of a single picture exposed twice.

To do this simply act as if you were doing the exposure with the Digital SLR cameras except when you change the exposure settings take a new picture rather than exposing the same image again. When you go into Photoshop simply put the two images together and make them a single image that was exposed multiple times.
